Oh blast. Forgive me- that was the itchy trigger finger being impatient with the publish my comment button. Feel free to delete those! I'm going to go be embarrassed in another part of cyberspace now...
PS. that website's also great for dinner parties. It really breaks the ice :)
I wasn't googling it. I was looking at the referrers section of my hit counter and saw that someone arrived here from that google search. Out of curiosity i tried the search myself to see why it should lead to my blog, and discovered that i was the number 1 hit. I personally find this hilarious.
Erm. I'm afraid it isn't the number 1 hit or even in the top 20 with or without the e on heroine.
There are several things that might be going on. Firstly you may be the 31st/41st/101st hit and you didn't check which page of results it was in, Google's changed its page rank system between then and now, you were seing personalised results (because you have a gmail account) or perhaps you didn't give us quite the right search term to use. Also its possible it only listed you as #1 briefly because google inflates the rankings of blogs which have new postings on them.
I should note that the search term is "heroine" not "heroin" and whoever was searching probably made a spelling error rather than being genuinly interested in what makes a great female hero.
Actually your blog doesn't even come up when I type (ingredients in heroine mental excrement) with or without the e on heroine. Are you sure you gave us the right search term?

Ok, call me annoyingly curious, but is there any particular reason you were testing out google search terms? :-p
Hope life's treating you ok. I'll try and get an email off soon!

oh, and HI!!!!! btw. How's you?
Congrats. I am number three on Google for "wild sex parties". Which, as LC pointed out to me, just means that Google doesn't really work.
ingredients in heroine?
You mean like feisty temper, blue eyes, ability to wield a sword, that sort of thing?
...leather boots, lace-up bodice, and thighs like thundering stallions? yes, exactly like that.
see, that sounds more like 'ingredients for frankenstein' now. a really hot frankenstein, though.
'cambridge fitties' too, wasn't it?
