Sundays

I hate Sundays. I never get any emails. People must do most of their web-surfing at work, because no one ever writes to me on Sundays. The weekend is a tremendous void of electronic satisfaction, a vacuum of digital happiness.

In lieu of reading emails, today I cycled from Bristol to Bath and back again.

wow. not sure if i should be
a. flattered
b. afraid
c. pity you
hmm. it's probably the lest rational, but i think i'll go with option 'a,' as my ego can always use a boost.

welcome, nerijus.

Why bike to Bath?
My great aunt lives there.
She's lovely.
You didn't run over any sweet old ladies with walking sticks did you?
And did you try the waters at the spa?

because that's where my boathouse is located. i wanted to explore the route to see if it was feasable to cycle to training sessions rather than paying someone for a ride.

conclusion: very feasable. it's only 11 miles each way, and the terrain is not difficult.

Er...let me get this straight... you're going to cycle a round trip of 22 miles... in order to exercise?

ooooooookay.
