Don't Panic

It's not the end of the world, i'm not dying or injured or homeless or expelled from uni. The first two days of this week nearly everything that could have gone wrong, did. I was a stress pot. I'm slightly better now, but i'm totally fucking knackered. (Was boxing for an hour this morning, cycled an hour to the boathouse, sculled for an hour in the quad, cycled an hour back. I'm tired.)

I will explaing everything in more detail when i get a second to breathe, but i just want to reassure you that all's, well, not well, but surviviable.

Thank you so much for your concern and sympathy. I really do appreciate it. It's the greatest blessing in my life to know that there are good people out there who care about my wellbeing, and to always know that i'm not alone. Thank you for being part of that, all of you. xxx

knockknock..hello..are you Ok?
I would die if I tried to do all of that excercising in one week never mind one day.
I can do demanding physical labour but I cannot function in a gym..oh what the hell am I saying phffft! at my age everybody walks around and 'vogues' at each station while they either network or hustle.

I hope that the universe is unfolding as it should because you are a child of the universe..no less than the trees and the stars you have a right to be heard..and whether or not it is clear to you..

do you know that 70s song..I am switching to decaf..anyway..it started out something like..

go out placidly amidst the noise and confusion..who the hell still says amidst, seriously I am switchin' to decaf.

Hope you get back in the pink, get back to where you once belong..OK thats enough..

toodaloo CB!

It's the start of a Catholic prayer...

I love that prayer. I cry every time I read it. Thank you so much hono escapeons for reminding me of it.

But in the interest of being pedantic the line should read..."You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars, you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, not doubt the universe is unfolding as it should"

My favouite bits though (the bits that makes me cry) are "...Neither be cynical about love, for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass" and

"With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. strive to be happy"

because really there no higher aim we can have.

It's by Max Ehrmann and the full version can be found here http://hobbes.ncsa.uiuc.edu/desiderata.html

Anyway. I am so glad that you're back. I was getting really worried about. I know i speak for everyone when I say you aren't alone and that we're all here, we think about you, we care about you and we're here for you!
