Shirt tales

By popular request, here is a photo of the shirts I bought yesterday, complete with matching cufflinks. (They're the cheesy knotted chord kind, but even buying three pairs of those was cheaper than one pair of gold ones that I could wear with all three blouses.)

(I have excellent taste, no?)

yes. And I think the cord looks better than gold would anyway...much more understated.

..and we cannot ignore the slimming effects of vertical stripes!

Very satisfying. Thank you.

(Are them little cord links cheesy? How so? I think they are lovely - complex, versatile, ingenious, and yes, understated. AND an opportunity for someone to buy you a pair of gold ones.)

HC: I once had a crush on a guy who, whenever he had a shirt made (all his shirts were custom jobs as he was of goofy proportions) also had a pair of cufflinks made in fabric to match. very understated, but very posh too!

homo: since when do i need slimming effects???!

mango: i like the way the green and orange one matches my blog. hmmm, maybe i'll take a photo of the fabric and use it for the blog wallpaper.

I once made some cufflinks out of an elastic band. They worked quite well.
